Aaron serves as the Lead Pastor at State College Alliance Church. He joined the staff in 2001 and served with the Church’s campus ministry until 2012 when he transitioned into his current role. Aaron oversees the preaching ministry, staff development, and big picture vision for State College Alliance Church.

Aaron is married to Amy, his best friend and ministry partner, and they are the happy parents of Grant and Max. In Aaron’s down time, he enjoys the woods and the water, playing music, and reading good books. The Henning’s can be found hiking on a day off, kayaking at a local park, playing basketball with the boys, and monitoring the safety of garage inventions and experiments.
