Sunday Morning ministries

During the 10:30 Sunday morning gathering, we welcome you to our First Look preschool, Route 252 elementary, and 4th-6th grade preteen ministries. Each of these ministries feature both large group Bible teaching and small group activities and discussions, with the goal of helping kids come to know Christ and know Him better.  


Our nursery for kids birth through 24 months is also open during the 10:30 service. 


NEW - SPRING 2025!
Preteen Narnia Group: Our 4th-6th grade preteen ministry will be relaunching with a journey into Narnia led by adult and student leaders from Alliance Kids and AWAKE student ministries. Each week, kids will explore a chapter of the famous Chronicles of Narnia books, seeking out Biblical parallels and discussing application to Christian living.

AWANA

Our AWANA club meets Sunday evenings from 6pm-7:30pm through the school year. Each night, kids from age 3 through 6th grade gather for a time of games, teaching, and Bible memorization, with a focus on learning God's word and understanding how it applies to our daily lives. We welcome both kids who attend State College Alliance on Sunday mornings and those who do not.


We are also looking for new volunteers to help us run the ministry. Most of the roles with AWANA are no-prep and are open to both attenders of SCAC and others.

Alliance Sports CAmp

Kids entering Kindergarten-5th Grade are invited to our annual Alliance Sports Camp held the last week of July. Kids come together each day during camp from 9-noon for sports, songs, Bible teaching, and tons of fun with friends. Visit the Alliance Sports Camp page linked below for more details.
